On Tuesday, March 8, Acting California Surgeon General Dr. Devika Bhushan participated as a State representative of the Behavioral Health Task Force public meeting, which solicited valuable stakeholder feedback on the Child and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative, a $4.4 billion effort to expand prevention and treatment services for youth mental health.
The Task Force was formed to advise the Administration’s efforts to advance statewide behavioral health services, prevention, and early intervention to stabilize conditions before they become severe.
