Toolkit
Safe Spaces
As part of California’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative, the Office of the California Surgeon General (CA-OSG) is offering a free, online professional learning module designed to help early care and education personnel respond to trauma and stress in children.
The content included in this toolkit can be used to help CA-OSG promote the training.
Social Media
We’ve created a social media toolkit for our partners to help us spread the word on Safe Spaces as far and wide as social media will allow for. That’s pretty far and pretty wide.
Promotional Video
For when your audience needs the information quickly and in an easy-to-digest format (also known as accommodating short attention spans).
The One-Pager
The Safe Spaces One-Pager gives audiences a snapshot of the training – the 5Ws, if you will – in both English and Spanish.
For Your Newsletter
We want to get the word out on Safe Spaces and, if you do too, we’ve made it as easy as copy and paste. Really. Copy and paste this into your newsletter to help us spread the word.
Note: Feel free to leverage the social graphics or web banners to complement the copy!
For Your Website
If you really want to show your commitment to spreading the word on Safe Spaces, you’ll reserve a very special space on your website to promote it. This is what you can put in said very special space.
For Your Presentation
Public speaking is anxiety-inducing enough. Here’s the presentation (with talk track) – all you need to do is practice.
For Your Classroom
Our Safe Spaces posters are designed to promote a safe, soothing environment for youth. Some serve as friendly reminders while others focus on a strategy to help regulate the nervous system. They’re available in English and Spanish as well as multiple sizes.
